Master model builders are able to make operating micro models using all of their skill. How then can a ten-year-old make a stake pocket; possibly a dozen that all look alike, or the pictured brakewheel? The spokes on the brakewheel are only one-eight inch long.
Six of these spokes must be held in exact position for soldering. Impossible ... until you construct a simple 'fixture'. ---an industrial term: "something securely fixed in position" -- "a device for holding work in a machine tool"
Each spoke can be shaped one at a time until ready to be securely held, fastened in position. Soldering is done without any hurry. Use as little solder as possible to ease clean-up with a file later.
